SABINA KARLSSON

Discovered in a hair salon at the age of four, Swedish-born & raised Sabina Karlsson basically began her modelling career in an instant. At quite a young age, she was already travelling and walking runways, leading her to sign with an agency in Stockholm at the age of eight. Juggling school and modeling, the natural beauty from a Swedish & Gambian descent, worked whenever she had free time, sometimes spending her school breaks in Paris and Milan. Sabina’s modeling career kicked into high gear, after appearing on Top Model Scandinavia at 16, where she placed 2nd. After graduating High School, Sabina moved to New York City. She’s walked the catwalks for brands including JACQUEMUS, BALMAIN, MAX MARA and MICHAEL KORS. One of her first major bookings was a Victoria’s Secret PINK campaign and has since added clients like H&M and GAP to the list of many. Landing the cover of Elle Sweden seven and a half months pregnant was a highlight in her career and a blessing to say the least... having also shot Vogue a week before giving birth to her son. In April 2022, Sabina was named Elle Sweden’s Model of the Year, for her numerous achievements and contributions to the industry as a whole. In her free time, Sabina has immersed herself into the birthing world, specifically working towards becoming a certified Birth Doula. The world of Birth Doulas was always something Sabina was interested in, noting that every birthing person deserves to have a positive and safe birthing experience. Knowing statics like the fact that women of color are 12x more likely to die during child birth in New York City really led her to be an agent of change, and work towards reversing such statistics.
