CHARLOTTE ROSE
(she/her)Charlotte Rose is a 22 year-old model and self-taught artist based in north London. Her debut showcasing her work, I QUIT LAST WEEK, is showing as a solo exhibition at Noho Studio, London from April 29 thru May 2, 2021.
In a effort to kick her smoking habit and deal with anxiety surrounding the uncertainty of "lockdown", Charlotte began painting large scale acrylic on plywood cigarette boxes.
Using social media as a platform to share her pieces, Charlotte's art began to gain traction, raising her profile and bringing her work to the attention of celebrities such as Yung Blud & Phoebe Waller-Bridge who both possess a Rose painting.
Working with popular brands such as Missoma jewellery and Korean fashion house Yuul Yie on artist campaigns, Charlotte was able to merge both her modelling & artist careers.
Growing up in a family of artists, Charlotte's world has always been one filled with the encouragement to create. For Charlotte, the lockdown enabled her to step back from distractions and nurture her passion.
