Born and raised in Boston Mass, American model & inspiring advocate Teddy Quinlivan was studying art in Paris when she was discovered in 2015 by Nicolas Ghesquière, LOUIS VUITTON’s creative director. She has walked for every major designer house including PRADA, GUCCI, VERSACE, FENDI, ALEXANDER WANG, SAINT LAURENT, CHRISTIAN DIOR, LOUIS VUITTON, MARC JACOBS, MOSCHINO and countless others. In September 2017, Quinlivan came out as transgender.Her announce-ment was praised by Ghesquière, designer Marc Jacobs, make-up artist Pat McGrath, and others in the fashion industry. She has been the cover girl for magazines such as Mixte, Glass, Oyster, Wonderland, the Italian, Spanish, Ukraine, Paris editions of L’Officiel, Paper Magzine, Numero France & Berlin, and the iconic i-D. In 2019, other than the hosting her own TED TALK with a powerful and moving message, Quinlivan became the first openly transgender model to work for CHANEL, starring in the fashion house’s new beauty campaign “Summer Look”. She currently ranks as one of the "Top 50" models by models.com.
When 2021 rolled around, Teddy put her "talk" skiils into action with a YouTube Channel podcast called UnHoly & Curious, including special guests like Jeremy Scott and Christian Siriano. She also participated in, with a heart-felt & exclusive interview via satellite from her home in NYC, the 2° edition of the Italian Camera of Fashion event (Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana) held in Milano, Italy on December 20, 2021, Including Diversity... a cultural and social "Talk" discussing the international relevance in diversity within the fashion industry.
