Raised in Paris, extreme beauty Aya Jones was born to an Ivorian father and French mother. Dance is what she passions, practicing ballet, modern jazz and hip-hop. Jones captured the eye of powerhouse brand PRADA where she made her exclusive runway debut in their SS15 Milano show. She went on to Paris where she walked for GIAMBATTISTA VALLI, MIU MIU, VIKTOR & ROLF, VALENTINO, SACAI, SONIA RYKIEL and NINA RICCI. A-listers Katie Grand, Edward Enninful and Bethann Hardison named Jones one of the best models of the season while i-D Magazine placed her 4th on their Top 10 new faces of 2014 and Interview Magazine made her one of the 15 faces of 2015. Steven Meisel photographed Jones for the PRADA Pre-Fall 15 collection and according to Vanity Fair was hailed the 44th most influent French person in the world for 2015. Being on the cover of the August edition of Teen Vogue, entitled "Meet the New Faces of Fashion", made a lot of noise in the fashion industry because the three models featured on it are women of color, helping fight the predominance of white models and the lack of diversity on the industry. She has been on many magazine covers since this one, including Vogue Spain, which titled the cover "Black is Beautiful". Jones went on to collaborate with iconic photographers Peter Lindburgh, Daniel Jackson, Craig McDean, Tim Walker, David Sims and Herley Weir to name a few and fronting editorials for all the iconic publications including Vogue Paris, Vogue Japan, Vogue USA, Numero France, i-D, Vogue UK and W Magazine. She's been featured in advertisements for GAP, H&M, CALVIN KLEIN and after a long healing period from a jet-ski accident in Thailand in 2017, Jones came back strong in an advertising collaboration for MANGO.
