EDWINA PRESTON
Born and raised in Hong Kong, the first time we laid eyes on this fascinating face with Auburn hair was for a February 2016 fashion story for Wonderland Magazine. From there, the editorials have piled in for publications like Self Service, Love, Re-Edition, Perfect, Arena Homme, Numero France, China and Germany, Dazed and D Repubblica, to Vogues’ Brazil, China, UK, Italia, Japan, Ukraine, Hong Kong and Mexico to name a few. What's more, power label GUCCI’s Alessandro Michele took notice of Preston; after securing the coveted opening slot of the GUCCI Cruise 2019 Arles show, she was quickly launched as an exclusive for the brand. Edwina went on to feature in the GUCCI Cruise SS19 ad campaign photographed by Glen Luchford, the 2018 Gift campaign photographed by Petra Collins and Eyewear SS19 photographed by Hugo Scott, and earned a spot on the models.com ‘Hot List’. This collaboration ignited again for the GUCCI x Ken Scott 2021 Campaign, followed by a second exclusive contract with the brand - for GUCCI Beauty in 2021.
Edwina has featured on the covers of Self Service, Re-Edition, Vogue Ukraine, Wonderland, Numero China and Perfect Magazine amongst others, and been lensed by industry icons including David Sims, Tim Walker, Martin Parr, Ezra Petronio, Harry Peccinotti, Walter Pfeiffer, Rankin, Glen Luchford and Alasdair McLellan, the latter placing her on the cover of his limited edition book ‘Home and Away’ in 2023.
As well as being trained in classical ballet for 13 years, Edwina is a keen painter. After initially completing her foundation diploma at London College of Fashion in 2017, Summer 2022 has found the stunning scholar a college graduate with a degree in Art History and Philosophy.
