AJOK MADEL

One day after a long shift at a local fast-food restaurant, Ajok Madel, a South Sudanese beauty who grew up in Perth, Australia, decided to send in some images of herself to a local agency. She was called in the next day and immediately signed. With a quick rise, Madel arrived in the Big Apple just days before the first shows of the Spring/Summer 2020 season, managing to make a quick and powerful impression. After walking for brands like TOM FORD, MAX MARA, MOSCHINO, FERRAGAMO, SPORTMAX, VERSACE, MISSONI, MAX MARA, ALBERTA FERRETTI, ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, GIVENCHY, HERMES, VALENTINO and DRIES VAN NOTEN, having made a quite impressive mark in all four cities, ranking amongst the season's top walkers. This trend continued season after season as Ajok incremented her client list with the likes of brands including PROENZA SCHOULER, BURBERRY, MOSCHINO, JIL SANDER, MISSONI, SPORTMAX, ISABEL MARANT, BALENCIAGA and ALEXANDER WANG. Ajok has been featured in advertising projects for fashion houses including HERMES, TOM FORD, MUGLER, SALVATORE FERRAGAMO, GIVENCHY, ALEXANDER McQUEEN, BURBERRY and featured in numerous fashion editorials for publications like Numero France, Vogue USA, CR Fashion Book, NY Times Style, V Magazine, Vogue Italia, Dazed Magazine, Numero Russia, Vogue UK, Vogue Australia, Document Journal, Self Service and i-D, landing covers for Vogue Hong Kong, Numero France, Vogue Italia beauty and most recently for Puss Puss Magazine. Ajok was nominated for Model of the Year / 2021 Breakout Star on MDC while currently sitting pretty on their "Top 50" list.
